If you have driven by or stopped in at Ziggy’s Auto Sales recently, you might have noticed that we have only a handful of vehicles on the lot. Like other dealerships, we’re trying our best to endure the current vehicle shortage. Production of new vehicles is down due to a shortage of parts, particularly computer chips. This has caused an increase in demand for used vehicles. If you think back to your high school or college Economics class, when you combine a shortage of supply with an increase in demand the result is higher prices. It is proving to be difficult, but we are doing our best to find quality vehicles at reasonable prices so we don’t have to pass on a big price increase to our customers.
