2006 Jeep Commander 4×4

With the 2006 Jeep Commander, the automaker has taken all that is good about the Grand Cherokee, added more passenger capacity, and penned a design that is unquestionably a real Jeep SUV. Riding on the same wheelbase as the Grand Cherokee (though the Commander is longer and taller), the Commander blends rugged off-road abilities with luxury and convenience features for the whole family. This 4×4 has a nice list of options including heated leather seats, power windows/locks/mirrors/seat, air conditioning, AM/FM CD player with auxiliary audio jack, and alloy wheels. All Commanders come standard with four-wheel antilock disc brakes, stability control and side curtain airbags. The 3.7-liter V6 gets fuel economy ratings of 14mpg city, 18mpg highway.
